Your data
University Buddy is the controller of your family's data. We use Supabase as our data processor to store it securely. We never use it to train AI outside your own session.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in Frankfurt, EU (AWS eu-central-1). It stays within the European Union.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time, and we remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can:

- Restrict how we use it (Article 18)
- Take your data with you (Article 20)

Younger family members
Most students using University Buddy are 16 to 18. We collect this information to build your university recommendations and to run and improve the service. Where the student is below the age of digital consent where you live, a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf when you save your progress with an email.
Our promise to you
Your happiness matters to us. If something is not right with your University Buddy report, tell us and we will do everything we can to make it right for you. And if we cannot, we will refund you. Whatever you decide, your conversation, documents, and test results always stay yours.
