Your data
University Buddy is the controller of your family's data. We use Supabase as our data processor to store it securely. We never use it to train AI outside your own session.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in Frankfurt, EU (AWS eu-central-1). It stays within the European Union.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time, and we remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can:
- Access your data (Article 15)
- Correct inaccurate data (Article 16)
- Request deletion (Article 17)
- Restrict how we use it (Article 18)
- Take your data with you (Article 20)
- Object to processing (Article 21)

Younger family members
Most students using University Buddy are 16 to 18. We collect this information to build your university recommendations and to run and improve the service. Where the student is below the age of digital consent where you live, a parent or guardian agrees on their behalf when you save your progress with an email.

If you are not satisfied with your University Buddy shortlist within 14 days of purchase, contact us at erik@zplus.ae and we will refund your payment in full. No questions asked. Refunds processed within 5 business days.
